modulbox promotes petition.

REWE, vly, Berief and Oatly pushed for greater fairness on supermarket shelves. To conclude and give a final push to their petition initiative to reduce VAT on plant-based drinks, REWE rented the modulbox system at short notice as a promotional and information stand. There wasn’t much lead time – but that’s exactly where our strength lies. Together with the agency URBENO, we got everything set up and ready to go within a few days.

Fast. Visible. Effective.

One week after the order was placed – delivered. That’s how quickly our modulbox was set up on the RAW site in Berlin, just a few steps away from Germany’s first purely plant-based REWE supermarket. This became the central campaign area for a clear mission: 7% VAT on plant-based drinks too.

What looked like a mini-festival provided a platform for a cause with impact. Between the DJ booth, baristas and latte art, there was not only the finest oat cappuccino, but also QR codes, flyers and samples with a petition link – all in and around our modulbox, which was transformed from a concept into a colourful experience space in no time at all.

In addition, a bicycle rally rolled through Berlin – with extensive promotion and a clear demand: an end to tax discrimination – plant-based alternatives deserve equal treatment.

Information stands for hire, or: Next stop modulbox

Another modulbox was used as a real traffic booster right in Berlin Central Station. The aim: to win votes in the middle of the commuter flow. REWE and Co. thus achieved a high-profile finale to their campaign. The result: a total of over 139,000 signatures. Because #lessisfair!
Main station hotspot: This highly frequented location has already proven itself many times over. A modulbox was also recently used here for the German government’s open day – equipped with information material, signposts, roof areas for sun and rain protection, and a stylish photo wall. A powerful attention magnet in one of the busiest places in Germany – and also realised at short notice within a few days.
