A really cold wind was blowing from the Spree. Alternating between sun and sleet was the order of the day. Not the weather that one associates with ‘Festival’ and yet the industry met in the Arena Berlin on the last weekend in November.
After two attempts, the Future of Festivals finally took place. The event organizers and service providers have been looking for such a format for a long time. Therefore, the discussions and lecture panels on three stages were well attended. You could then discuss questions and ideas with the exhibitors.
The initiators around Robert Stolt’s team did a great job and organized an industry get-together under very special conditions. The hygiene and safety concept worked smoothly on site and was implemented perfectly. From this we all draw confidence and courage for the time to come.
We, as mo-systeme and team, were there with the modulbox MAX to get a taste of the industry again and because we want to help shape the future of the festivals with the modulbox systems. A mirrored modulbox MAX provided space for interviews from the online platform Mothergrid. With AVMS we brought a video cube onto the modulbox roof. Films about the best festivals in Germany were shown around the clock. Our visitors sat on xbricks stools – ideal for outdoors or for a workout in between.
